SeatPad solves nature’s seating problem

The great outdoors make a terrible place to sit. Nature’s idea of seating is full of things like sharp edges and cold surfaces. Swedish outdoor company Light My Fire’s SeatPad has a simple solution to a number of annoying little problems such as hard, cold, warm, wet and slippery.

The SeatPad is a high-performance, lightweight cushion to take edge off sitting down outdoors. Made of stretchable neoprene, which insulates against both hot and cold, the nylon cover is 100% water-repellant and sharkskin gives it excellent anti-slip properties. The SeatPad even floats.

In addition to seating comfort, the SeatPad can also be used to keep beverages warm or cold, to protect fragile items when packing and as a potholder. The SeatPad comes with a rubber cord and hook for folding and easy hanging. The Seat Pad has Light My Fire’s distinctive triangular shape and red and white logo.

”The few pads we’ve seen on the market have been somewhere between ugly and unsightly – like something you cut from a spare piece of foam rubber you had lying around in the garage,” says Light My Fire President, Caill Odquist. ”We wanted to make a SeatPad that was both more attractive and more practical. We see people using this product at concerts, picnics, hikes, boating, a day in the park, a week on a mountain top, you name it!”
