New Spork Titanium
The Spork The Spork for the extreme outdoor enthusiast
The original plastic Spork, made by Light My Fire, was so enthusiastically taken to heart by outdoor enthusiasts that it created a new product category. It was light, rugged and practical with an attractive Swedish design. Now the family has added a new member, the Spork Titanium.
The Spork Titanium is made completely of titanium, an alloy used in aircraft construction for its lightness and extreme strength. The new Spork will have the same design and dimensions as the original Spork – 17 cm in length (6.7 inches).
A response to customer demand
“As much time and money as we spend on product development, the idea for the Spork Titanium actually came from our customers,” explains Light My Fire CEO, Calill Odqvist. “We always listen to our customers and a number of them wanted an extreme version of our classic Spork. Our original product, made of ultra-durable PC plastic, has proven to be practically indestructible. Yet, there was a strong demand for a Spork that was totally indestructible. As you know, titanium is one of the hardest light alloys on the planet.”
