Environmental concern converted into local action

The EOG Association for Conservation was founded in 2006 by members of the European outdoor industry to protect wilderness areas. The organization raises funds from companies in the industry to look after their biggest common interest: preserving the environment. The EOG Association for Conservation, independent from the main EOG, is designed to harness the incredible power of our industry and to raise money to donate to grass roots conservations groups. The emphasis is on projects that focus on specific issues and root causes, involving direct citizen action, that eventually inspire public involvement.

The EOG Association for Conservation will raise money from subscribtions, donations and via the EOG's interest in the Out- Door show in Friedrichshafen. The first year goal is to raise € 150, 000.

Light My Fire donateted all proceeds from sale of Sporks at the Friedrichshafen outdoor show to the organization.
