The lunchbox re-invented

The lunchbox has remained unchanged for half a century – an ugly metal box with a handle to carry your sandwich back and forth to school. When requests for something new poured
in from Light My Fire’s customers, the result was a slimmed down version of the company’s MealKit.
By reducing the MealKit to three pieces – front, back and Spork, Light My Fire has added
a new dimension of design and practicality to the hum-drum world of lunchboxes. The LunchBox can also be combined with the MealKit harness for easy carrying. Made of PP (polypropylene), an environmentally-friendly plastic, the LunchBox is machine washable, microwave safe and even floats.
The new LunchBox is ideal for school, picnics and the office. The distinctive triangular shape fits easily in a backpack or briefcase.
Based in Sweden, Light My Fire specializes in outdoor accessories that are as practical in the city as they are in the wild. From making fires to eating meals - our products have been taken to heart all over the world by both the backyard and the backwoods survivalist. Products include FireSteel fire-starter, the re-invented Mealkit and the popular success the Spork, which sold over a million copies in its first year on the market.
Made in Sweden – Everybody Wins
All Light My Fire’s manufacturing is made in Västervik, Sweden. When Electrolux moved its vacuum cleaner shell factory from Västervik to Hungary, they abandoned more than a state-of-the-art plastic factory – they left an entire town to its fate. When Light My Fire moved into the 28,000m2 facility, they helped turn things around for the local community. With the international success of the company, local jobs have been created along with a new feeling of optimism.
“We have proven that you can still manufacture in high-wage countries and remain competitive. All it takes is a little innovation and the right attitude.”
